Valerio holds a BA in History from Royal Holloway, University of London, and an MSc in European Politics and Policy from UCL. His academic journey has fostered a robust foundation and a keen passion for contemporary history, geopolitics, policy-making, and public policy. During his MSc at UCL, Valerio specialised in Europe's global role, EU foreign policy, Brexit, the EU's impact on member states, and populist movements.
Before joining Tancredi, Valerio gained valuable experience working in non-profit institutions, journalism, theatre, and radio production. As a Political Affairs Officer for The Borgen Project, he represented the NGO at various business, political, and community events, advocating for key poverty-reduction legislation and engaging with local and national government officials and institutions.
Valerio is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish.
