Lauren Cotton

Lauren has spent a large part of her career in public relations and administration. She earned her BA in public relations from Tulane University in the United States. After graduating, Lauren joined Formula PR (now Havas Formula) where she was an account coordinator  and worked with large clients such as ConocoPhillips. She subsequently worked as an assistant to a freelance public relations practitioner in the US where she worked on large briefs.

Salamander brings over a decade of media experience to Tancredi from her time as a correspondent at the Financial Times, writing extensively on business as well as politics. Her wide experience as a journalist extends from coverage of European multinationals to US politics. In 2003, when the US initiated war in Iraq, Salamander reported from the Washington DC bureau, covering politics including the Pentagon & State Department. Her last role was Media Correspondent where she covered the corporate activities and regulation of Europe’s largest media companies. 

Prior to joining the Financial Times, Salamander served as an aide to a senior member of the Jordanian Royal Family. She has also worked at UBS and Coopers and Lybrand. Salamander has a Masters from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University where she studied as a merit scholar. She specialised in Economics and Development of the Middle East. She gained her BA in French from Edinburgh University.

Catrina Daly

Catrina Daly

Catrina has experience in both corporate and consumer public affairs, including working for the corporate and investor relations department at Fiat Chrysler's CNH Industrial. She has also worked on client accounts such as Mars at Freuds, and in the financial services sector at Camarco PR and IHS Markit. Catrina graduated with a BA Hons degree in Italian and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin where, as Chair of the Italian Society, she hosted various events including keynote lectures and liaised with guest speakers such as the President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce UK and the Italian Ambassador to Ireland.

Hannah works across a range of Tancredi’s clients with a particular focus in financial services, innovation and industry.

Prior to joining Tancredi, Hannah graduated with a B.A. in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History from Somerville College, University of Oxford.

Georgia leads Tancredi’s Tech & Innovation Practice and is one of the foremost experts on global fintech. She has played a central role in shaping the narrative around the fintech industry since its inception. She served as Head of Global Communications at Innovate Finance, a membership association for FinTech based at Level 39, Europe’s largest accelerator space for FinTech innovation. She was also the diversity lead for the organisation, with a keen interest in promoting financial inclusion and attracting more women in banking and FinTech professions.

Previously, Georgia was a director within Citigate Dewe Rogerson’s corporate practice where she headed up the agency’s start up division and supported a range of established tech clients. Before her foray into agency life Georgia ran her own media consultancy for a decade where she represented a broad range of clients spanning consumer, third sector and technology companies.

Nicholas Lamptey

Nicholas has a passion for strategic communications built on eight years of experience spanning corporate PR, European and African politics and digital marketing. Based in the United Arab Emirates, he spent the last three years specialising in renewable energy and sustainability for a global strategic communications agency, where he honed skills in corporate positioning, storytelling, social media and media relations.

Outside the UK, Nicholas has spent time living in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Accra and Madrid. He has a passion for current affairs born out of his first career role working in Westminster as Parliamentary Assistant to a Member of Parliament. Nicholas graduated from the University of Exeter in 2008 with a BA in Spanish.

Leonardo Maisano

Leonardo has spent his career as a senior journalist steeped in international political and economic affairs. Prior to joining Tancredi, Leonardo was the UK bureau chief of Il Sole 24 Ore, a position he held for a decade. He continues to write editorials for Italy's tier one financial media as well as for independent think tanks. Brexit is one of his specialist subjects. 

Leonardo focused his journalistic interests on European political and economic integration, and specifically on Central and Eastern Europe where he lived for five years (2004-2008).

Leonardo started his professional career at the newspaper Il Giornale. In 1988 he was appointed London correspondent before being assigned to Brussels where he opened the UK bureau for the newspaper. Leonardo has also been a senior consultant for the Philip Morris Institute.

Mariam Polding

Mariam Polding (née Alireza) is a trained lawyer who brings deep knowledge public relations in a Middle Eastern context. She has advised large Saudi corporates on complicated public relations issues and has been appointed designated media trainer to Saudi governmental departments as well as private entities. 

She is an expert in strategic content creation and bridging the communications gap between East and West. Her clients have included the Al Waleed Bin Talal Foundation and the World President’s Organisation.Over the past decade Mariam has provided leadership in her roles as editor-in-chief of two large circulation publications in Saudi Arabia.

Mariam plays an important role in philanthropic life in Saudi Arabia which has included founding the first tennis academy for Saudi children.
She holds an MA in law from the American University in Cairo.

Giovanni Sanfelice di Monteforte

Giovanni brings over 15 years experience leading complex public relations briefs for some of Europe’s largest companies.

Prior to founding Tancredi, Giovanni was the founder and Chief Executive of Barabino UK, the subsidiary of the Italian communications company, between 2008 and 2014. He advised the majority of the FTSE MIB 30 companies in the UK as well as a number of international investors in Italy. Previously, he was head of corporate communications at Telecom Italia Group, where he navigated the company across an intensive M&A program around the globe. Giovanni also worked at ING Baring on the fixed income sales desk, and at Accenture where he worked as an analyst in the Telecommunications and Media sector.

Giovanni holds a Master of Science in Economics and Management of Public Administration and International Institutions from Bocconi University in Milan. He is the Chairman of the Business Club Italia, the think tank for the Italian financial community in London.
